From Materials to Your Doorway
We Source. We Design. We Create.
Our story begins long before a Bandarwal reaches your doorway.
We source beautiful fabrics, embellishments, beads, trims, bells and traditional decorative elements from trusted makers and markets across Kolkata, Rajasthan and other parts of India. We then bring these materials together and give them a new identity through our own designs.
Every Bandarwal is thoughtfully designed by our team — from the colours and patterns to the arrangement of every bead, tassel and bell. Once the design comes to life, each piece is carefully assembled, finished and packed by us, ready to make its way to your home.
We believe the beauty of a Bandarwal lies not in a single material, but in how different elements come together.

What we use
Cotton for softness. Jute for strength. Brass for warmth. Wood for weight. Every material in a Bandarwal toran is natural, sustainably sourced and chosen because it ages well — growing more beautiful with each season.
We test each batch of materials before production begins. No synthetic dyes, no plastic beads, no shortcuts. The materials are honest. The craft is honest. The product lasts.
Toran. Bandarwal. Whatever You Call It.
Known across India by different names — Toran, Bandarwal, Bandhanwar, — this beautiful doorway tradition carries the same timeless message: WELCOME.
A toran at the door is never merely decorative. It is an open hand extended to every person, known or unknown, who crosses your threshold. It marks the entrance not just to a home, but to a space where people are welcomed, celebrations begin, and memories are made.
We make ours with that weight of meaning in mind. Every piece that leaves our workshop carries the intention of the artisan who made it, the character of the materials chosen, and the blessing of a tradition that has adorned Indian doorways for generations.
Whatever you call it, its meaning remains the same — a warm welcome.
